Straw woven by hand in Ecuador with natural fibers from the Toquilla (herbaceous palm-like plant)

    • MAINTENANCE

      • Be careful not to get your hat wet,  the straw could deform. However, if it is, wipe  the excess water with a dry cloth then lay it flat to let it dry.

      • For cleaning, wipe it with a clean damp cloth.

      • Never leave your hat in a hot car.  It will shrink and warp.  Panama fibers need a bit of moisture to keep from becoming brittle .

      • In winter, place the  in its box, spraying it with a little water before storing it. Do the same when you take it out. Panama does not tolerate major temperature shocks.

      • To take care of it and pamper it for as long as possible, avoid pinching it by the top of the crown. To put it on and take it off, take it rather by the edges.
